Maeli turned 1 last Friday, June 10th! Here's all the fun of the day:
Maeli loves balloons! The night before her birthday, we snuck into her room after she had fallen asleep, and tied balloons all around her crib. Boy, was she excited the next morning. She was so excited she got up at 5am! I guess that's what we get for putting balloons in her room :)

She would tear off little pieces of paper, and then hand them to me...needless to say, it took awhile before she got to the gift!
She got some new sports balls. Only 3 more years until little league!

She didn't have much interest in the cake at all...I put a piece in her mouth, and she spit it out!
