Trip Down South

We went down to Austin to visit my parents over the 4th of July & had a blast! Of course, vacations never last long enough...time flew! We got to see lots of rain, although everyone there was sick of the rain, I enjoyed it since we don't see much rain out here in the dessert. Here are some pix from our trip:

Eating dinner at the original 'Salt Lick' - great environment, so authentic :)
Tyson & Uncle Taylor

Bryan, Nicole, Michelle, Kawika
You can bring your own drinks to dinner- so we brought water & Gatorade instead of beer!

It is Andrews (serving a mission in Cali) birthday this coming Monday, so while we were visiting, we tried to get a picture of Tyson holding a happy birthday sign to send to Andrew on his birthday. Of course, it went straight into Tyson's mouth every time (so funny), so finally we rigged it so that you could still see the sign while the popsicle stick is in his mouth. We took probably 50+ pictures to try and get a good one. It was too funny!

Tyson & Aunt Michelle
In this picture I was looking at him in the mirror across the wall, making him laugh- that's where he is looking. He just woke up from his nap, so he was full of extra smiles!

Dinner at the 'Oasis' on Lake Travis In Austin, TX

Night Swimming!

I know this pictures looks totally awkward....but we were playing the a dunking game, and it was hilarious. Love the goggles!
That was it! Great trip, hope to make it out soon again.
Thanks Mom & Dad!
I think I will always love Texas!

Michelle,

I know you always have, but even more so now, you look SO much like your mom. She is such a beautiful lady and you are too! Looks like you had lots of fun in TX. I miss TX too, not that we're too far away in OK. Maybe we'll move back some day when this law school thing is over.

It looks like you had a great time in Texas. I don't what it is about you Texans, but you sure do love that state. I guess I'll have to make a trip there some day. That baby is a cutie! Was it your first time seeing him since he was born? Your parents must love being so close to their grandbaby.

Looks like a great time. It's fun to play those pool games that you haven't for years. My brother Shawn and I were having fun dunking each other just today at the pool. You look great!

Michelle- it's been a LONG time! How the heck are you?! From the looks of it, pretty good! It looks like things are going well for you guys and your family. Isn't marriage a great thing?! I'm glad I ran across your blog. Have a great summer!
